📍 WHERE: Multiple volunteer locations across Ogle County

🙌 WHY: Together, we’ll witness tangible improvements in our neighborhoods, from revitalized public spaces to enhanced educational facilities.

Whether it’s by painting at schools, cleaning up parks, or assisting local nonprofits, Day of Caring volunteers embody the spirit of unity and service.

Day of Caring provides our community with a sense of togetherness and empowerment among our neighbors, reminding us that we can achieve remarkable things when we come together with a shared purpose.

Have a project idea?
We would love to help with needed projects that benefit the community or those in need. We are looking for projects that can be done by individuals, families, or co-worker groups between 9am-12pm on our Day of Caring.

Here are a few examples:

  • Landscaping needs? Have a painting project? Pick a couple of small projects that can be done by volunteers.  Make sure you have enough tools for your crew.
  • Notice a road with a lot of litter? Have a neighbor that struggles with yard work?  Clean up can help beautify our community.
  • Get creative! Think about things that need to be done, we can help!

To submit a project, please click here to fill out the form or e-mail arichter@uwleeco.org.   Please remember, organizations need to provide a staff or volunteer to lead the project and all supplies for their project.
